Pink Cactus is the union of two of the creative minds that brought you Freckle Creative.
Annie and Tim began Pink Cactus in the effort to pursue a hobby that full-filled them in a way that the "Day job's" did not. Pink Cactus is literally the passion project of two individuals who strive to make online user experience, a safe, accessible, and most importantly, exciting!
Interesting Side note: Initially, Pink Cactus started out as a uni assignment, for a degree that Tim is s0o damn close to finishing...

I completed my Certificate of Secondary Education at Christ Church Grammar School WA in 1999, and also gained my Tertiary Entrance Admission at Christ Church Grammar School in the same year.
I am currently in the process of finishing off a Bachelor of Arts Degree in the field of Multimedia Design at Curtin University.
During my employment at Freckle Creative, many of the sites I designed were featured in online style galleries such as CSS Remix, Web Creme, CSS Mania, CSS Blast, CSS Nightingale and Unmatched Style.
At the 2006 WA Web Awards, sites that I designed won 5 of the 13 available web awards. These awards included Best of Field - Business, Best Accessibility and Standards Compliant Website, Best Not For Profit or Charity Website, Best Media Website and Most Outstanding Website of 2006.
At the 2006 Mcfarlane Awards (Australia Wide), 2 websites that I designed were listed as finalists for the award. There were 6 finalists in total for this award.
Through the last 6 years of my professional career and through my course work at Curtin University I can confidently say I have attained the following skill sets:

In my spare time I like to live an active lifestyle. I like all things to do with the water, such as boating, wakeboarding, diving and sailing. In summer I play cricket for Western Suburbs cricket club. I also like riding motorbikes, rollerblading and cycling. When I'm not out and about, I love to play computer games, watch arty movies, listening to music and just trawling through the internet for design inspiration, interesting information and technology development research.
